antique cane seat captain's chair work table Some minor spots of wearThis antique cane seat captains chair features a curved crest rail with shaped arms, turned spindle supports, and a hand caned seat framed by warm aged wood. The proportions and metal back bracing give the chair an early handmade character rooted in Colonial Revival and English tavern forms from the turn of the century. Its sculptural silhouette works beautifully in farmhouse, cottage, primitive, and traditional interiors. CONDITION In good condition
