Golden Laurel Dinnerware 40th Anniversary Event The clear crystal that fillsThis pattern was originally created for use at Buda Castle (also known as the Royal Palace) during the reign of Francis Joseph I who was Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary. Initially created in the 1870s, it consisted of a golden laurel wreath branch and bore the monogram of Francis Joseph as well as the Hungarian Crown.
