(from 60+ year old vines and the vineyard is a whopping 4 ha monopole within Perrières)

Much more modulated wood and reduction make the nose difficult to assess today

I much prefer the 2010 La Gaffelière that I tasted the week previously

Unlike the Poissenot though this beauty is unlikely to drink well before at least 10 years have passed

cedar and dark fruit on the nose are echoed on the palate of this full-bodied

Au Bon Climat, Hildegard White Vintage:2019 (from 60+ year old vines50% Pinot Gris, 40% Pinot Blanc, 10% Aligot. Pale straw. Broad and welcoming on the nose with the Pinot Gris most obvious. Again, that salty note on the palate. Not desperately long. It seems as though its all on the nose at the moment.
