Purple colored, it exhibits a nose of cedar, smoke, leather, scorched earth, violets, blackberry, and blueberry compote. This is followed by a full bodied, personality filled wine with gobs of fruit, excellent breadth on the palate, silky tannin, and a long, pure finish.
