I painted this on Thanksgiving eve 2018 and spent the holiday with some good friends one of whom has an affinity for Leghorns so I named it after her

What makes this an interesting painting is that "you" as the viewer become the "focal" point

nurturer and a knowing that someone walks with you

Having lived in Central Oregon for many years and awaking to the spectacular views of the mountains there I can say with all my heart that painting them will never ever get old and I hope to have the honor many many more times to come
