The album was recorded to tape on his grandmothers 1970s TEAC 4 track cassette, with all lead instrumentation performed by Christo. His grandmother would record four part harmonies on the 4 track for her church group, which was then gifted to Christo complete with original home recordings of her singing and his grandfathers glee club group.
