As the yarn is 3 ply it works really well in textured patterns. It is a very soft yarn and can be used by many who are otherwise allergic to wool. The linen fibre places itself smoothly over the wool and this gives a lovely mel effect to the yarn, as the linen does not absorb the wool dye. The yarn works well in childrens garments.
