Venetian Red Cushion - Needlepoint Damask it’s a piece of pureWeve long admired late 14th century tapestriesparticularly the exquisite way they capture the texture and movement of fabric. The weavers skill brought clothing to life, almost in three dimensions. For our Damask cushion, we reinterpreted a small section of such a tapestry in needlepoint, carefully preserving the original folds and flow of the fabric. Finished with metallic over embroidery to echo gold brocade, and rich red tones that radiate
