Last year from barrel this was restrained to the point of being almost mute but that is no longer the case as the nose is now overtly expressive with very ripe and again borderline exotic aromas of yellow orchard fruit along with the more classic scents of citrus
At first rich and vinous on the palate
This is a wonderfully impressive wine that has the touch of youthful austerity that Champans always seems to display
opulently perfumed fruit followed by medium weight
