hand-carved shoveler hen duck by Bill Reinsager, 1993 Levis 519 75 inch 101 cm FoldedThis signed 1993 shoveler hen duck decoy was hand carved and painted by Bill Reinsager of Muscatine, Iowa. It captures the distinctive shape and subtle coloring of the northern shoveler duck, with a broad bill and finely detailed form. Reinsagers signature and the 1993 date appear on the underside, marking it as a piece of regional folk carving from the Upper Midwest.
