Het album is mede geproduceerd door componist Tite Curet Alonso en bevat klassiekers als de doorbraakhit 'Anacaona', de guajira 'Pa' que afinquen' en het bolero nummer 'Mi triste problema'. Deze editie is geremasterd vanaf de originele mastertapes door Clint Holley en Dave Polster van Well Made Music en geperst op 180 grams vinyl.
