Tatreez Charm 007 NEW 11 bezel-set 2mm blue sapphiresThis pendant is made with silver I recycled in studio. With the silhouette of the raw edges still maintained, this sort of circular charm was then hand engraved with over 70 cuts to imitate the stitches of the Reesh motif representing feathers, inspired by versions of the design found in Tatreez (the art of Palestinian embroidery). The hand engravings were then oxidized and combined with a satin finish on the face for a bold, highly contrasted effect.
