A selection of 14 botanicals including chinchona bark, gentian, quassia wood, a LOT of orange peel, and a selection of warm spices are macerated in non GMO spirit for a couple of weeks. It is then proofed down to 40% abv and rested in used whiskey barrels for 4 months. The resulting amaro is further filtered, proofed, sweetened,
