Yalumba The Virgilius Viognier 2021 VARIANT:750ML from a 100-year old parcelAn exceptional viognier, paired back from a more unctuous archetype, to one of resinous complexity and a phenolic edge to the leesy and subtly oaked textural patina. Savory and mid weighted, rather than overt or fat, as is often the way with this variety. Apricot pith, frangipani and verbena, compressed beautifully by the textural handling into an orb of tension.
