This one is a 2004 refill hogshead, bottled at 19 years of age with several degrees of reduction to 53%. This is slightly less peaty than the first bottling, but no less evocative or powerful, and indeed the extra maturity brings a richness and depth to this whisky that is hugely satisfying.
