Released on Sept. 22, 1983, it was certified Gold by the CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association) on Feb. 1, 1984 for 50,000 sold, which this award celebrates. This was the group's first album on which they appeared on the cover without make up. The title track "Lick It Up" and "All Hell's Breakin' Loose" were released as singles and the album hit #46 on the Canadian chart, #24 on the U. S.
