While the concept of transferring silk tie patterns onto fabric isnt new, Ive refined my own methods shaped by lots of trial, error, and discovery to create pieces that are truly original. Each scarf begins as plain white wool. I lay pieces of vintage silk neckties on top, then transfer the dye directly from the silk onto the
