50s BRIGHT WARM YELLOW INDIAN ELEPHANT BLOCK PRINT COTTON DRESS - XS AutumnHandmade 50s dress in Indian block pritn cotton with Elephants and stylized horse riders. Beautiful warm yellow cotton with print in blue, burgundy and darker yellow. Fitted sleeveless bodice with collared v neck and small covered buttons to the front. Fitted waistband with matching long tie belt. Skirt is full and sewn in wide neat pleats to the waistband. Popper buttons hidden under the front pleats below waist. No labels. I pretty sure this is

slightly puffed shoulder and two tiered black and white stripe ruffles from shoulder

Appears handmade

Skirt is fitted down to the lower hip with two small darts that open out and a straight cut down to the hem

White cotton with blue and grey print featuring a court or ballroom with ladies in lavish dresses and veils fanning themselves and gentlemen

Some tiny frays to the eyelets at the lacing

Hem has been taken up slightly but is uncut
